Nastya Kess
My name is Nastya Kess and I am a multidisciplinary artist. I use mediums like painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, video, animation and others, as well as supplementing them with light and sound. At the moment I am particularly interested in working with found waste and post-apocalyptic themes, which is the subject of the project named "Transition".
The biggest inspiration for me is the riot of nature: strong wind, or some flying leaves, snowfall, a storm over the ocean or a night thunderstorm. At the same time, the human condition is important to me - in moments of transition - overcoming life's peak moments.
With my art I would like to change life for the better - to bring beauty, harmony and mind to the surrounding life, to give people an opportunity to think it over, showing with my projects the depth of states of mind of any human.
