Nastya Kess is an interdisciplinary artist working in various media, including painting, ceramics and video art. Nastya Kess is a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and a resident of the Bizar.art, Artonline24 and Cube.market platforms.
Her education includes studying at the Repin St.Petersburg Academy of Arts, the Nizhny Novgorod State University at the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, as well as schools, a residence and master classes in pottery and hot enamel. Creating her worlds - through projects or paintings - Nastya Kess explores the themes of ecology, consumer culture, war, spirituality and psychology. Her work is a meditative process that allows her to understand the inner states and experiences of transitional moments in life.
Her art is an immersion into immersive worlds, where the viewer becomes a participant. She took part in exhibitions organized by GARAGE, Futuro gallery, Salon de 4Ceramics and many others. Her works are in private collections in Holland, Russia, China, Israel, Ukraine, Vietnam, Denmark and Japan.
